Raymond Weil
The label Raymond Weil was founded in 1976 by Raymond Weil at a time when the Swiss watch industry was at a bit of a turmoil. Raymond Weil decided on the designs of the first collections, and sold them personally to European distributors. In 1982, Raymond Weil's son-in-law, Olivier Bernheim, joined the company. At the time Olivier was in charge of the marketing, and used his managerial skills to create a global market for the company. Today, Olivier Bernheim is the CEO of the company. Many of the Raymond Weil series and collections are inspired by music, such as Parsifal, Tango, Don Giovanni, Traviata and Othello.
