Oris
Oris is a relatively young watch company and was founded by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian in 1904 in Hölstein, Switzerland. In 1968, Oris obtained a chronometer certification from Observatory Neuchâtel in Switzerland. This certificate is for movements in 0.652 caliber, and is one of the highest accolades in the business. Since 2003, Oris has been the sole supplier of watches for the BMW Williams Formula 1 Team. The Oris Limited Edition Williams F1 Team Chronograph was the companys most sold watch during that same year. In 2004, Oris celebrated their 100th anniversary. The company has a lot of celebrities as ambassadors for their timepieces, such as Sean Penn, Harrison Ford, Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicolas Cage, Meg Ryan, Keanu Reeves and David Beckham.
